Which war is still unfinished? which place is yet to be turned around? it is Jerusalem where Judaism was born in 1800 BC and flourished till the Romans arrived in the first century A.D. Being recognized as Jewish area, until Jewish-Roman wars happened in 1st and 2nd century and next Jewish became minority. The area became mostly Christian and next Muslim after Arab’s conquest in 7th century. So, Judaism, Christianity, Islam – three religious communities made this region sacred.

For almost two Millenia, the Jewish did not have a Homeland in this region until 1948 when they declared that the region was a Sovereign state of Israel. British colonized that region in 1917 and they decided to leave in 1948. Obnoxious persecution of Jewish pronounced in 11th century, that followed the exodus of Jewish from Europe at early 20th century. Next Jewish helped British to fight the war against Germans. British again followed the divide and rule policy. They promised Jewish to reward them their own country by dividing area into two – Israel and Palestine (resolution number 181 of 1947 UN resolution).

Jewish declared sovereignty the day after British army left in 1948. And the very next day several Arab countries attacked Israel. The name GAZA was born. Since then Palestine consists of two enclaves within territory of Israel – one is West Bank and Gaza Strip, both parts have a great distance between them. The area which Arab captured in 1948 makes Palestine today. Documented history of Gaza spans 4000 years back, as it has been ruled, destroyed and re-populated by various dynasties, empires and people. Hamas rules today prevented by Hezbullah.

Gamal Abdul Narer, a charismatic President of Egypt declared to exterminate Jewish from Israel in 1967. Israel bombarded Egypt, Jordan And Syria, pulverized all in 6 days. Right now armies in these countries are utilised to maintain internal stability and fighting political opponents. India’s freedom is directly connected to the British policy in 1947.
